Father and Son Illustration

It’s been 2 months since my last illustration post, but here it is. This is a pencil illustration of a me and my son. I took the actual picture with my phone a few years ago at a football game (Go Falcons!). I don’t fancy myself a great photographer, but I really liked the picture. He’s MUCH bigger now, by the way. This was done using a variation of pencils to achieve different values. I took extra time to make sure the dimensions of the face were accurate. Hopefully it wont be so long before I finish my next illustration. I want to also thank my lovely wife for my new drawing table:>).
